Future Bound 2025: Celebrating Student Innovation and Leadership in the U.S.
May 7, 2025
This June, Junior Achievement USA brings Future Bound, its newest dynamic student event, to Atlanta, Georgia. Future Bound will spotlight the creativity, leadership, and business acumen of more than 300 high school students from across the United States. Hosted for the first time in Atlanta after years of the National Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., Future Bound builds on a rich tradition of empowering young people through experiential learning.
Over four days, student teams will compete in four high-impact national competitions:
JA Company of the Year Competition: The JA Company of the Year National Competition celebrates high school students' entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen across the US. Teams of students form companies, develop a product or service, and bring it to market, all under the guidance of a local business volunteer. The first-place team will automatically qualify for the 2026 De La Vega Global Entrepreneurship Award.
JA Social Innovation Challenge: The JA Social Innovation Challenge invites high school students to form teams and address pressing issues in their communities or beyond. By harnessing their innovation, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit, participants can make a meaningful difference in the world.
JA Titan National Competition: The JA Titan Challenge is an online simulation that allows students to become CEOs of virtual companies and make critical business decisions in a competitive, dynamic marketplace. The competition is open to high school students across the country, who will compete in teams to achieve the highest stock price for their company.
JA National Stock Market Challenge: The JA Stock Market Challenge is an online simulation where students are given a hypothetical US$1 million to invest in the stock market. The challenge is open to high school students across the country, who will compete in teams to achieve the highest return on their investment.
With support from Chick-fil-A, Delta Air Lines, Pacific Life Foundation, Staples, and FedEx, Future Bound offers more than just competition. Students will engage in workshops, participate in an Entrepreneurship Expo, and network with industry leaders, gaining insights that will serve them for life.
The event will also include award ceremonies recognizing achievements in innovation, marketing, social impact, and financial performance, with categories such as the FedEx Global Possibilities Award and the RSM Enduring Excellence Award. Check out the Future Bound schedule.
As students gather in Atlanta this June, Future Bound promises to be a celebration of purpose-driven leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, and the limitless potential of today’s youth.
