Vivian Lau, President, JA Asia Pacific

Vivian is President of JA Asia Pacific, covering 20 countries and serving over 1 million students. In addition to this role, Ms. Lau has been the Chief Executive Officer of Junior Achievement Hong Kong since 2004. JA Hong Kong serves up to 40,000 students with the support of over 2,000 business volunteers every year. Vivian is also the Director of Pacific Air Limited. 

From 2003 to 2005, in addition to her role in JA Hong Kong, Ms Lau was also the Chief Operating Officer of Hong Kong Petrochemical Co Ltd. From 2005 to 2011, she was the Chief Executive Officer of this US$200 million turnover and 100 people strong petrochemical manufacturing company based in Yuen Long, New Territories, Hong Kong. 

With over 20 years of international experience in industry spanning leadership development, petrochemical, IT, airlines, advertising, online and telecommunication industries, Miss Lau possesses a proven track record in starting, growing, managing and restructuring corporations and non-governmental organization. 

Vivian is especially recognized and valued in Hong Kong for her pioneering endeavor. Her inimitable successful leadership style has not only created financial values, but she also created highly motivated teams that have gone on to do great things on their own. It is this passion for people that led Vivian to leverage her academic background in Psychology (BA) from the University of Texas at Austin, USA and Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, to maximize contributions through working with high net worth individuals in their quest to excel and to become even better leaders.
