Held alongside World Youth for Action, JA Worldwide’s flagship multi-year youth advocacy initiative, this board meeting offers a unique opportunity to meet young people and collaborate across borders, cultures, and lived experiences.

Friday: November 20

Location: World Youth for Action Summit at Le Meridien; The Leela Hotel, Jaipur 

  • 10:00–2:00pm: JA Worldwide Board of Governors (Optional programmes)

    • Join WYFA Summit 

    • Tour of New Delhi 

    • Shopping 

  • 2:00–7:00pm: Travel to Jaipur by Private Transportation (approximately 5 hours)

  • 7:00pm onwards: Check-In & Stay

Saturday: November 21

  • 10:00am onwards: Showcasing JA tGELF Educational Cooperation 

    • Meeting with Deputy Chief Minster, Government of Rajasthan 

    • Meeting with the Royal Family 

    • Potential Field Visit/ Interaction with tGELF JA Youth 

    • Visit City Palace, Jaipur 

    • Shopping (optional) 

  • 6:00pm onwards: Return to Hotel & Cultural Evening

Sunday: November 22

  • 10:00am onwards: Jaipur City Tour &/or Shopping for The Wedding 

  • 6:00pm onwards: Invitation to Private Family Indian Wedding Event at The City Palace 

  • 2:00am: Late Night Flights Out of Jaipur 

Monday: November 23

  • Group Transportation to New Delhi & Transfer to Airport for Return Flights

This promises to be an impactful and immersive experience. Throughout the week, we will also have the privilege of welcoming government officials and other distinguished guests to several of our events. As a result, enhanced security measures will be in place to accommodate their participation.

Visa Requirements

If available to travelers from your country, we recommend applying for an e‑Tourist Visa to attend the Board of Governors events and tours. Please note that visa requirements and application procedures vary by nationality, and some travelers may be required to apply in person at an embassy or consulate. We encourage you to confirm the requirements that apply to you and begin the application process as early as possible.

Transportation

Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). For your convenience and safety, we recommend using the hotel’s airport transfer service, licensed airport taxis, or reputable rideshare services such as Uber. Please avoid accepting rides from drivers who approach you inside the airport or outside terminals.

Transportation will be provided for all official JA Worldwide Board of Governors and World Youth for Action events throughout the program.

Dress Code

World Youth for Action and board meetings: Business casual

Dinners: Business casual or cocktail attire

Group tours: Casual with comfortable walking shoes

Optional Indian wedding experience: Festive elegance. Guests are invited to wear colorful cocktail attire or traditional Indian clothing (such as a sari, lehenga, kurta, or sherwani), if you wish. You will have an opportunity to go shopping in Jaipur.

November is one of the most pleasant times to visit New Delhi. Expect warm, sunny days with cooler mornings and evenings.
