One Global Team: World Cup Fever Hits JA
July 8, 2026
Across more than 100 locations, we’re all on the same team.
As the 2026 World Cup reaches the quarterfinals, eight teams remain in the competition. Each represents a country where JA works to help young people discover their potential and prepare for the future.
In Argentina, Belgium, England, France, Morocco, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland, JA students are gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial health. They’re learning to collaborate, solve problems, communicate their ideas, and turn challenges into opportunities. Through hands-on learning, support from educators, and guidance from volunteers and mentors, they’re building skills they can carry into any field they choose.
The World Cup reminds us that great teams bring together people with different roles, strengths, and perspectives in pursuit of a shared goal. The same principle drives JA’s global network. Our programs respond to the needs of local communities, while our locations share a common commitment to equipping young people for a rapidly changing world.
In 2025, JA delivered more than 23 million student learning experiences worldwide. That reach reflects a simple belief: Talent knows no borders. Whether a young person dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, engineer, educator, athlete, or something the world hasn’t seen yet, opportunity can help turn that potential into action.
The teams on the pitch may be competing for one trophy, but the work of preparing the next generation calls for all of us to play a part. Across languages, cultures, communities, and continents, JA students are developing the confidence and skills to shape their own futures and contribute to something larger than themselves.
Every country has a future champion. Champions begin in classrooms, communities, and moments when young people realize what they can accomplish.
When the world learns together, everyone wins.
