JA Worldwide Honored with the 2025 Transformative CEO Award
October 15, 2025
The CEO Forum Group Institute recognized JA Worldwide with the 2025 Transformative CEO Award in the Future Leaders category. The award celebrates bold, purpose-driven transformation under the leadership of our CEO Asheesh Advani. JA Worldwide Emeritus Governor, Ralph de la Vega, who previously served as Chair of JA Worldwide and CEO of AT&T Mobility, introduced The CEO Forum Group to Asheesh Advani which led to our selection with this prestigious award.
JA Worldwide has been on a journey of transformation over the last decade. With a focus on expanding access and growth, accelerating innovation, investing in alumni engagement, and building an abundant and modern brand, JA Worldwide and all six regions of the JA network have grown on all dimensions: student reach, depth of impact, revenue, net assets, and network engagement. Through the Fixed, Flexible, Freestyle model, the JA network balances structure with innovation, anchored in our mission while adapting to the unique needs of more than 300 JA locations in over 100 countries. This transformation has allowed JA to bring hands-on, experiential learning to millions of young people each year with an inspiring long-term aspiration to serve 10% of the world’s youth population by 2050.
Asheesh’s leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, abundance, and distributed decision-making, creating space for JA leaders everywhere to innovate and lead within their own contexts. In a time of technological disruption and rapid societal shifts, this mindset ensures that JA remains agile, resilient, and deeply connected to the communities we serve.
This award is a milestone for JA’s leaders, a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come and to reaffirm our vision for the future. We’re proud to share this honor with every member of the JA family, and we’re inspired to continue transforming the world through opportunity, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

JA Worldwide has also benefitted from additional recognition for our leadership by prominent organizations in recent months. For example, in November 2024, Asheesh Advani was nominated and selected by members of the Thinkers50 (the fifty leading management thinkers in the world) for inclusion on its inaugural list of Leaders50, a list of fifty of the world’s most inspirational leaders alongside celebrated leaders such as Satya Nadella from Microsoft and Melanie Perkins of Canva. In September, the Thinkers50 selection panel shortlisted Asheesh as one of five individuals for the Distinguished Achievement Leadership Award for 2015. Each of these forms of recognition bring greater awareness of JA and our impact among key decision-makers.
