April 24, 2025
JA has officially launched its operations in Pakistan with an ambitious goal: to reach one million Pakistani youth annually by 2030 through hands-on learning in entrepreneurship, work and tech readiness, and financial literacy.
This milestone marks a significant expansion for JA Pakistan, which will also operate as the Resilient Next Generation Foundation. The organization also launched a new website, japakistan.org, signaling a bold vision for national visibility and long-term impact.
“I am passionate about what this partnership can bring to this country,” said Dr Haroon Latif, CEO, Life Pakistan, and Chairman of JA Pakistan. “JA believes deeply in the boundless potential of young people, and with the right tools and opportunities, today’s youth will shape a thriving and prosperous Pakistan.”
With one of the largest youth populations in the world, Pakistan is poised to benefit greatly from immersive, skills-based education that connects classroom learning with real-world opportunity. JA Pakistan’s mission aligns with national education goals and aims to complement public-sector efforts to equip the next generation for the future of work.
As a member of the OneJA network, JA Pakistan gains access to more than 100 years of global experience across 100+ countries. Proven models from peer countries include:
JA Philippines, which reaches over 1 million students annually through close alignment with education ministries and broad school access.
JA Brazil, which reaches 740,000 youth via a state-spanning office network that thrives even in regions with limited digital infrastructure.
JA Romania, which engages 450,000 students annually by leveraging low-tech tools and offering certified teacher training tied to national priorities.
“We’re not starting from scratch—we’re starting from strength,” said JA Worldwide COO, Caroline Jenner. “JA Pakistan stands on the shoulders of a global movement, and with the right local leadership, it will become one of the most dynamic and impactful JA member countries in the world.”
As one of the world’s largest and most-impactful youth-serving NGOs, JA provides hands on, immersive education in entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial health.
