JA Asia Pacific Celebrates Cha-Ching Reaching 1 Million Young People in Indonesia
October 9, 2025
In Indonesia, more than 1 million children have now gained essential financial literacy skills through Cha-Ching, a joint initiative of JA Asia Pacific, Prestasi Junior Indonesia, Prudence Foundation, and Prudential Indonesia.
Through hands-on learning and storytelling, Cha-Ching helps students understand how to earn, save, spend, and donate, instilling habits that last a lifetime. This achievement not only highlights Indonesia’s remarkable progress in youth financial education but also demonstrates how JA’s global partnerships can scale impact across communities and generations.
Cha-Ching reached students through from 20,000 schools across 60 cities/regencies and was delivered by over 31,500 teachers. Supported by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia, this achievement marks a major milestone in financial literacy among Indonesian children.
