JA Boost puts a mentor in every student’s pocket.

A Mentorship Engine, Supercharged by AI

Rather than replacing mentors, JA Boost amplifies their impact. Students engage with AI mentor-agents such as JA Pitch Master and JA Biz Master, each designed to deepen learning and drive progress. Educators and volunteers focus on meaningful coaching while students benefit from real-time support.

JA Biz Master

JA Boost guides students through each stage of crafting business plans, from ideation to execution. It provides templates, examples, and AI-driven feedback to help students create robust, viable business strategies.

Business Plan Helper also helps students refine financial projections and adapt strategies based on market insights.

JA Pitch Master

JA Boost helps students refine their pitch presentations by offering tips on pitch structure, delivery practice, and feedback on key areas such as clarity, engagement, and impact.

Whether a simple elevator pitch or a stage presentation, JA Boost engages students through text, audio, and video formats, allowing for practice and perfect delivery.

The platform is powered by custom AI codices, which align with JA curriculum and provide region-specific content, making it far more contextually intelligent and pedagogically sound than off-the-shelf AI solutions. Additionally, JA Boost focuses on active learning, encouraging students to engage deeply with concepts rather than passively consuming information. JA’s approach to education is immersive, experiential, and hands-on—students don’t just learn about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness; they actively participate in real-world scenarios, developing and applying skills in tangible ways. JA Boost enhances our learning-by-doing model, providing AI-powered real-time feedback, interactive exercises, and guided self-reflection to reinforce student learning.

By fostering curiosity, guiding exploration, and building confidence, JA Boost supports students in becoming independent, lifelong learners who are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern workforce.

JA Boost is also designed to encourage students to pursue further learning opportunities to develop their AI skills—for example, with the AI Skills Passport, a free course from EY and Microsoft.

Piloting Now, Scaling Fast

JA Boost isn’t just a concept; it’s a growing portfolio of AI mentor-agents designed to enhance student learning and self-efficacy. The first mentor-agent, JA Pitch Master, has already been tested with students, educators, and business volunteers. Our second mentor-agent, JA Biz Master, is now in the inception phase.  We have worked in close collaboration with the McKinsey AI for Social Good initiative and the Noble Intelligence expert team through an intensive, iterative development process across multiple phases. Our goal is to design JA Boost mentor-agents with a human-centered approach, tailored to specific learning needs and challenges. By combining personalized support with the highest standards of responsible AI, we aim to empower young people to confidently navigate some of the most complex real-world situations they will encounter.

Over the next two years, JA Boost is set to scale rapidly, with goals to expand to more than 20 countries and in more languages. As we advance JA Boost, we’ll develop additional AI-driven use cases such as career guidance tools, leadership development, AI and ethics literacy, smart spending and consumer awareness, introduction to banking and financial services, and more.
