Selva Pankaj, Regent Group

Selva Pankaj is the founder, Chairman and joint CEO of Regent Group, a global education, impactful investment, and economy-building business. Founded 25 years ago, Regent Group has headquarters in London, New York, Dubai, and Mumbai. Selva is a qualified chartered management accountant, holds an MBA, and has studied at London Business School, Harvard Business School, and Stanford Graduate School.

Regent Group’s ethos “the end result of education is character” underpins everything that Regent does. Selva has developed a series of transformational educational programs and supporting books (Thinking into Character, The Power of Learning from DAD, Think and Grow Rich, and The Mindset) based on his own executive education at Harvard University and Stanford, California. These programs help people to develop their natural intelligence; in other words, the attitude, mindset and approach needed to succeed.

By innovating and leading in education, Selva aims to create a more prosperous and equitable future for all in the UK and globally. Since October 2023, Selva has chaired the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Sustainability 70 Steering Group (SG70), working to ensure that millions of young people across the world can benefit from the award. Since 2017, the Pankaj family have hosted the Global Unity Dinner to foster unity, reconciliation and forgiveness.

Regent Group joined the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2024 and Selva attended the World Governments Summit in Dubai in 2025 as a panel member and strategic partner. Selva has received a number of awards, most recently Visionary Business Leader of the Year at the British Asians Who’s Who Awards 2025.
