A Bridge Between Education and the Workplace

At 25, Diana Soriano had already completed university and was working in her first professional role. She wondered what a program like Competencias para la Vida from JA Mexico could really teach that she didn’t already know. But curiosity won, and the decision turned out to be a turning point in her early career.

The interview simulation aspect of the program allowed her to consider and respond to in-depth questions she would encounter at larger companies and for roles she wanted. “I’d already been through job interviews,” she said, “but not like this. The simulators helped me a lot, and thanks to those sessions, I was able to get the job I have now, which is even better than my previous position.”

Seeing how much the program helped her, Diana now actively recommends it to others, starting with her own family. “I hope my brother joins the next Competencias para la Vida,” she shared. “He just finished high school. I think he’s at a perfect stage to start with this.”

For Diana, the program is more than a course. It is a bridge between education and the workplace, a space where young people can rethink their paths, regain motivation, and build the skills they need to move forward.
