Get Involved :: Alumni

Since 1919, more than 50 million students have been involved in Junior Achievement.  Today we hear from alumnus like you on a regular basis, and from all over the world.  The memories and experiences they share capture the very best of Junior Achievement's exciting record of success.

After all, historically our students have done amazing things.  And from what we hear, they continue to do the same as adults.  In fact, some of today's most successful people are JA alumni.

Alumni often serve as one of more than 8.000 local board members, as one of 245,000 classroom volunteers, or as a financial contributor.

Junior Achievement reached out to its alumni to help determine the long-term impact of JA programs. Twice as many of our alumni are confident that they can successfully compete in a business environment, compared to adults without JA experience. Former JA student, founder and president of Habitat for Humanity -- Millard Fuller
"I was extremely involved in Junior Achievement in both high school and in college. I was president of my own Junior Achievement company, and spoke at the World's Fair on behalf of Junior Achievement! Then, when I was in college at Auburn University, at age 19, I became the youngest program director of Junior Achievement in the nation."
